Getting there

We ask that you walk or bike to the Reiefestival as much as possible. Do you live a little farther away? If so, we recommend using public transportation.

  • By bike

At various festival locations, we provide bike racks where you can leave your bike during the performance. You can find a handy overview of all the bike racks on our map.

  • By bus

The Reiefestival takes place at various locations throughout Bruges’ city center. You’ll soon be able to find the closest bus stop for each festival location on the venue information pages for the various performance venues, which will be available on this website shortly. You can also plan your own route using De Lijn’s route planner.

  • By train

Are you coming to Bruges by train? Plan your trip easily using the NMBS route planner. From the station, it’s about a 5- to 40-minute walk to the various festival venues, depending on your destination. Of course, you can also take a bus from the station to your desired location.

  • By car

Are you coming into the city center by car after all? If so, it’s best to park:

    • In a free off-street parking lot or Park & Ride zone
    • At the Centrum-Station parking lot
    • In one of the underground public parking garages in the city center

You can find an overview of all parking options in and around the city center on the City of Bruges website.

Do you have a European parking permit for people with disabilities (“blue card”)? If so, you may park for free anywhere on the street in Bruges (except at kiss-and-ride zones and short-term parking spaces).

There are also a number of reserved parking spaces for people with disabilities scattered throughout the city center. You can find an overview of these parking spaces here. The nearest parking spaces for people with a European parking permit will also be listed by location on the location fact sheets soon.
