dark waters is a unique performance that freediving (the sport of holding one’s breath underwater) with spirituality. It shows how people share their intense experiences on social media, balancing between authenticity and performance. Drawing on ancient church traditions and music, the work invites you to reflect on the meaning of life today and how that is shaped online. Through a digital “prayer book” on your smartphone, you can dive into the experience yourself.
