Het Genootschap van Verloren Dingen

Two characters together form The Society of Lost Things, an ambitious search party that tracks down everything the world quietly loses. Not just lost objects, but also forgotten memories, sounds from the past, or that sense of the past that sometimes just vanishes.

As they try to preserve what is in danger of fading away, it becomes clear that their own losses may be the ones whispering the loudest…

The Society of Lost Things is a poetic, slightly absurd, and moving performance in which two people try to hold on to each other while searching for the elusive. What they find, what they miss, and what they’d rather not face leaves the audience wondering what they themselves may have lost long ago.

This performance is produced in collaboration with Uitwijken, which, in the run-up to the Reiefestival on August 28–30 and September 4–5, will be touring the Bruges boroughs with *Het Genootschap van Verloren Dingen *. This way, local residents are also drawn into the atmosphere and experience of the festival.
