The weekend kicks off on Thursday, September 3, with the HoT Stuff closing concert. Together with Cactus Muziekcentrum, House of Time welcomes musician Abel Ghekiere for a special concert evening that will bring the concert series to a festive close and set the tone for a vibrant cultural weekend.
Starting Friday, September 4, the Reiefestival will take the audience to Steegske, a new site-specific performance by Febe Coysman and Lena Majri. In a hidden corner of the city, colorful characters and unexpected stories come to life. The performance runs on September 4, 5, and 6 and invites visitors to see the city and its hidden spots with fresh eyes.
On Saturday afternoon, there will also be The Society of Lost Things is on the program—a poetic and slightly absurd performance by Collectief 33. In this co-production with Uitwijken, two characters set out in search of everything that was lost along the way: objects, memories, and feelings. The free performance is open to everyone ages nine and up.
Between performances, there’s plenty of time to enjoy the unique atmosphere on the grounds. Especially for the Reiefestival, the House of Time summer bar will be open all weekend. It’s the perfect place to discuss a performance, meet up with friends, or simply enjoy a drink in a relaxed festival atmosphere.
With a varied program for young and old, House of Time once again proves what a special place it is within Bruges’ cultural landscape.
